Paul Brooks

International furniture designer, Paul Brooks graduated from the RCA with a degree in Furniture Design before joining the design team of Robert Heritage, OBE RDI, in 1983. 

Paul established his own design practice in 1988 after five years working on diverse projects.  He has since worked for a host of UK, as well as other European furniture manufacturers and has become a well established figure in the design community with many highly successful creations to his credit.

Paul has worked closely with Boss Design for many years.  He has designed a number of successful ranges such as Sonatec, Pro and Sona, (which achieved Ergonomic Excellence status).  He says ‘I believe in working closely with clients to analyse their needs in order to deliver a totally appropriate solution – aesthetically, functionally and commercially’.

More recently Paul designed the innovative Mars chair, a state-of –the-art visitor chair which promises to be an extremely popular volume product.

Based in the centre of Europe, Paul’s Strasburg location has been central to his success.  Offering ease of communication for clients and suppliers and adding value and understanding in today's global marketplace.

As well as receiving an Ergonomic Excellence Award for Sona, Paul was also named as the Designer of the Year at Mixology 2008.
