A Sneak Peek of What’s to Come at Salone 2019

It’s nearly that time of the year again! Christmas for the design community, the Salone del Mobile | Milan 2019 returns 9-14 April. As the preeminent design fair, expect to see the latest and greatest all being showcased on the world stage.

For us at P4 it is an essential time that we always have blocked out on the calendar. We get to meet the faces behind the furniture brands and here are some of the highlights we can’t wait to bring back and show you.

True Design

The Italian furniture brand has been super busy working away to create seven new products to showcase at Milan.

In addition to everything from tables, bookcases and chairs, True has also been developing an incredible series of colour palettes, in collaboration with Parisotto&Formenton.

For an awesome dose of inspiration check out the latest edition of True’s digital publication Truly Yours magazine here

True will also have a presence right across Milan this year, with a stand at Rho, an exhibition with Elle Décor in Palazzo Bovara and a presence at Interni (University of Milan) FuoriSalone.

True Equo

One of the new exciting additions to the True Design range is Code. A versatile seating system with flexible and moveable parts. We don't have much to go on for this one just yet but definitely stay tuned!

Blå Station

Although Blå Station has been keeping coy about what will be released at Salone del Mobile this year, the Swedish brand has already exhibited in Stockholm this year so we think there will most definitely be some crossover.

Expect great things from this cult favourite – in particular, some extensions to the wildly popular BOB range.

Chairs&More

Favourites Studio Pastina returns to the Milan Furniture Fair with Chairs&More, this time with a brand new design to showcase. Studio Pastina designed Chips, and bringing a signature voluptuousness will present Flora in 2019.

Flora is a compact lounge chair featuring a chunky and comfortable seat and shell, while an exposed steel frame holds it all together. Soft round curves and edges make it a cosy-looking option, suitable to many environments.
